Chamber of Commerce seeks World War II veterans
The Monticello-Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is seeking World War II veterans, as it prepares for the 28th Annual Christmas Parade. This year’s theme is “A Star Spangled Christmas” and World War II veterans will serve as grand marshals for the event.
Veterans of World War II are asked to contact the Chamber Office at (606) 348-3064, even if you are not interested in riding in the parade. Honorary recognition of all who submit their names will be given during the parade’s live television broadcast.
The Christmas Parade will be held on Friday, December 3 at 6 p.m.
