ERVIN MARCUM Feb. 12, 1922-Sept. 18, 2004 Ervin Marcum, age 82, of Monticello, Ky. passed away Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the Veterans Hospital in Lexington, Ky. He was born February 12, 1922 in Albany, Ky., the son of the late Clay Marcum and Florence Hicks Marcum. He married Ather Massengale, who preceded him in death. He is survived by two sons-Danny Marcum and Dennis Marcum, both of Monticello, Ky.; two sisters-Maxine Denney of New Castle, Ind. and Iva Clark of Anderson, Ind.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was one brother-Orbin Marcum; and one infant sister. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Eddie Neal and Bro. Ron Jones officiating. Burial was in Old Bethel Cemetery. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
