JERRY WAYNE JOHNSON Jul. 17, 1950-Sept. 30, 2004 Jerry Wayne Johnson, age 54, of Utica, Ky. passed away Thursday, September 30, 2004 at his home. He was born July 17, 1950 in Glasgow, Ky., the son of James O. Johnson and the late Mora Sturgeon Johnson. He married Sarah N. Johnson, who survives. He is survived by one son-Brian Patrick Johnson; one daughter-Lauren Kaye Johnson; two sisters-Sheila Parker and Vickie Laird, both of Glasgow, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. He was currently employed as President and CEO of First Security Bank and Trust in McClean Co., Ky. He was a bank examiner for the State of Kentucky from 1973-1978, was the assistant vice president of People’s Bank in Monticello, Ky. from 1978-1981 and was vice president and senior consultant of Professional Bank Services, Inc. from 1981-1991. He was on the board of directors of Bankers Bank in Frankfort, Ky. and at First Security Bank and Trust in McLean County, Ky. He was a member of Panther Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 2, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Panther Creek Baptist Church in Owensboro, Ky.
