Absentee voting machine is open in County Clerk’s office
The absentee voting machine is currently open in the Wayne County Court Clerk’s Office. The machine opened Monday and any voter who will be out of town on November 2 may stop by and vote between now and Election Day. The absentee machine will be open during regular office hours.
Elderly voters and those who are sick and unable to go to the polls November 2 may vote by the traditional paper absentee ballot. County Court Clerk Carol Jones noted that her office is currently mailing paper absentee ballots.
