CORNELIUS FLYNN Mar. 2, 1914-Oct. 4, 2004 Cornelius Flynn, age 90, of the Spann Hill community of Wayne County, Ky. passed away Monday, October 4, 2004 at his home. He was born on March 2, 1914 in the Kidder community of Wayne County, Ky., the son of the late Johnnie and Alice Owens Flynn. He is survived by his wife Jennifer Vaughn Flynn and son Joshua Meredith both of Monticello. He was formerly married to Stella Flynn, who preceded him in death on February 27, 1970. To this union three children survive-Ella Ree Keith and Elbert Flynn, both of Pulaski County, Ky., and Della Ree “Dee” Rowe of Blanchester, Ohio; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by two brothers-Arnold and Taylor Flynn; and two sisters-Bertha Keith and Dessie Flynn. He was a retired employee of the Kentucky Highway Department and was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God. Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 6, 2004 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Leroy Hammond and Bro. J.S. New officiating. Burial was in the Dry Valley Cemetery in the Kidder community.
