Absentee voting machine is open at County Clerk’s office
The absentee voting machine is currently open in the Wayne County Court Clerk’s Office. Any voter who will be out of town on November 2 may stop by and vote between now and Election Day. The absentee machine will be open during regular office hours.
Elderly voters and those who are sick and unable to go to the polls November 2 may vote by the traditional paper absentee ballot. County Court Clerk Carol Jones said that applications to vote by paper absentee ballot must be returned to her office by Tuesday, October 26.
