EDITH LOUISE DOBBS Jun. 8, 1935-Oct. 20, 2004 Edith Louise Dobbs, age 69, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky. She was born June 8, 1935 in Wayne County, Ky., the daughter of the late Ed and Edna Blevins Coffey. She married Dester Dobbs on September 5, 1951, who survives. She is survived by three children-Delilah Foster, Joy Melissa Kidd and Dee Juan Dobbs, all of Monticello, Ky.; and two grandchildren; five sisters-Mildred Iona Gregory, Josephine Decker, Doreda Criswell, Carol Provisor and Gleta Higginbotham; one brother-Donnie Coffey; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was one sister-Mary Emily Miley; and two brothers-Ray and Willard Coffey. Mrs. Dobbs had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, October 23, 2004 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Bro. Curtis Burnett and Bro. Jimmy Decker officiating. Burial was in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery.
