LUCILLE STRINGER Oct. 21, 1922-Nov. 24, 2004 Lucille Stringer, age 82, of the Parnell community, Monticello, Ky. passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at her home. She was born October 21, 1922 in Wayne Co., Ky., the daughter of the late Porter Stephenson and Lola Stephenson. She married Scott Stringer on December 23, 1944, who preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters-Jeannine Parmley and Carolyn Jones, both of Monticello, Ky.; one son-Ronald Stringer of Monticello, Ky.; two sisters-Thelma Parmley and Wilma Cromer, both of Monticello, Ky.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Preceding her in death was one sibling-Lee Andrew; and one grandchild. She was a homemaker. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 26, 2004 at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Odie Hollars officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Heartland Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
