ERTLE G. TOLER Apr. 30, 1917-Dec. 4, 2004 Ertle G. Toler, age 87, of Westport, Ind., passed away Saturday, December 4, 2004 at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born April 30, 1917 in Eadsville, Ky., the son of the late Eaph and Daisy Miller Toler. He is survived by three sons-Danny Toler and Kenneth Toler, both of Westport, Ind. and Phillip Toler of Greensburg, Ind.; two daughters-Linda Sue Lakes and Rose Ann Meirs, both of Cambridge City, Ind.; two sisters-Lexie Frost of Monticello, Ky. and Zilpha Frost of Westport, Ind.; one brother-Colum Toler of Monticello, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was one son-Jackie Toler; two brothers-Kermit Toler and J.B. Toler; and one sister-Belva Luft. He was a landscaper for Garr Nursery for 7 1/2 years. He started his own landscaping business in 1963. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S Army. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bill Pearl officiating. Burial was in Westport Cemetery with military graveside services.
