Williams is arrested on drug-related charges A local man was arrested on drug-related charges Wednesday, December 8, following an investigation by the Monticello Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff¹s Department, along with the UNITE Task Force and the Lake Cumberland Area Drug Task Force. Paul R. Williams, 47, was charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance first offense. He was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. The investigation culminated with a search of Williams¹ residence on Worsham Lane. Officials indicated that Oxycontin and cash were seized in the search. Add a comment |
