BRO. HAROLD RAGAN Jan. 21, 1929-Dec. 5, 2004 Bro. Harold Ragan, age 75, of the Susie community, Monticello, Ky. passed away Sunday, December 5, 2004 at his home. He was born January 21, 1929, the son of the late Benton and Opal Guffey Ragan. He married Thelma Beeler on November 3, 1947, who survives. He is also survived by two sons-Darrell Lee Ragan and Gary Ray Ragan, both of Monticello, Ky.; one daughter-Lila Louise Hancock of Monticello, Ky.; two sisters-Christine Morris of Monticello, Ky. and Eva Morris of Fla.; one brother-Milton Ragan of Owensboro, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was three sisters; and two brothers. Bro. Harold accepted Christ as his Savior as a young man. He was the present pastor of the Highway Holiness Church at the time of his passing. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 9, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Highway Holiness Church with Bro. George Cromer and Bro. Bill Lee officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
