ETHEL HARMON KINNETT Jun. 5, 1913-Dec. 15, 2004 Ethel Harmon Kinnett, age 91, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at Wayne County Hospital. She was born June 5, 1913 in Russell Co., Ky., the daughter of the late James Preston and Laura May Brown Kinnett. She married John Preston Kinnett on November 21, 1936, who preceded her in death. She is survived by four children-Danny Kinnett, Phillip Kinnett, Janice Bell and Shirley McGinnis; one sister-Lorine Withers; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was one sister-Wonzie Pruit, three brothers-Hershel, Claude and Lewis Harmon; one half-sister-Lee Beck; and two half-brothers-Oliver and Leslie Harmon. As a young lady Mrs. Kinnett had accepted Christ as her Savior and united with the Horse Shoe Bottom Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, December 18, 2004 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. E.H. Neal officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Mountain View Baptist Camp. Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
