JESSIE MCGINNIS Mar. 31, 1933-Dec. 12, 2004 Jessie McGinnis, age 71, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2004 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Ky. He was born in the Jimtown community of Wayne County, Ky. on March 31, 1933, the son of the late Willie and Edna Lowe McGinnis. He married Marie C. Dishman, who preceded him in death on June 15, 1996. He is survived by one daughter-Regina Parmley of Monticello, Ky.; one sister-Linda Jane Smith; two brothers-Shell and Shelby McGinnis; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by two sisters-Mattie Stinson and Ellie Dishman; and three infant siblings-Oliver, Nellie and Irene. He was retired from the J.K. Phillips Construction Company and attended the Mill Spring Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 15, 2004 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Steve Wheeler officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Hickey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
