MARY JANE RIGNEY Mar. 30, 1946-Jan. 10, 2005 Mary Jane Rigney, age 58, passed away Monday, January 10, 2005 at Wayne County Hospital. She was born March 30, 1946 in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of the late Shelby H. and Lona Lair Barnett. She married Floyd William Thompson, who preceded her in death. She later married Ronnie Rigney on October 31, 1981, who survives. She is survived by three sons-Gordon, Paul and Joseph Thompson; two sisters-Marilyn Blevins and Helen Butler; one brother-Mitchell Barnett; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was one sister-Amy Sue Smith. She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Old Charity Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, January 13, 2005 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Larry Marcum and Bro. Denzel Jones officiating. Burial was in the Dick Cemetery.
