Coffey arrested on various drug and other charges An investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff¹s Department and the UNITE Task Force culminated in the execution of a search warrant and the arrest of a local man. Rex Scott Coffey, 34, was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first degree and possession of marijuana. Officials say they seized a quantity of marijuana and methamphetamine. Coffey was additionally charged with contempt of court for failure to pay child support. A 1996 Dodge Intrepid was seized in the investigation. Coffey was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center without bail Add a comment |
