ESTILL B. BAKER Nov. 22, 1924-Jan. 20, 2005 Estill B. Baker, age 80, of Nancy, Ky. passed away Thursday, January 20, 2005 at his home. He was born November 22, 1924 in Nancy, Ky., the son of the late Ben H. Baker and Minnie D. Daulton Baker. He married Elzie Verdell Atkins Baker on January 31, 1952, who preceded him in death. He is survived by four sons-Estill Baker, Jr. and Donald Baker, both of Nancy, Ben Baker of Waynesburg, and Billy Joe Baker of Eubank; two daughters-Julie Morrow of Monticello and Rosie Baker of Dry Ridge, Ky.; one sister-Dorothy Tarter of Nancy, Ky; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was three brothers-Chester Baker, Lester Baker and Harrison Baker; one sister-Rosa Burton; and one grandchild. He was a farmer. He attended Okalona Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Monday, January 24, 2005 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. James Gossett officiating. Burial was in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Morris and Hislope Funeral Home of Science Hill, Ky. in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
