FRANK EAST Jan. 10, 1924-Feb. 3, 2005 Frank East, age 81, of Monticello, Ky. passed away Thursday, February 3, 2005 at his home. He was born January 10, 1924 in the Betsey community of Wayne Co., Ky., the son of the late Andrew Tilden East and Kitty Evy Sloan East. He married Gladine Rose on November 22, 1947, who survives. He is also survived by one daughter-Kitty Cooper of Monticello, Ky.; two sisters-Stella Lois East of Somerset, Ky. and Linnie Munsey of Monticello, Ky.; and one grandchild. Preceding him in death was one child-Teddy Gene East; three brothers-Willie East, Charlie East and James East; three sisters-Lillie Ballou, Lucy East and Evy Hurt. He was a member of the Meadow Creek Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 6, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Austin Flowers and Steve Wheeler officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
