Humane Society seeks land donation for facility The Humane Society of Wayne County is looking for a land donation, where an animal adoption facility can be located. The organization has received a $10,000 donation from an estate, but they must have the land by the end of February in order to proceed with the project. According to Sherry Martin, with the Humane Society, the organization is looking for two to five acres of property that is fairly accessible and has city water.
