ELIZABETH T. LEWIS Jul. 17, 1915-Feb. 15, 2005 Elizabeth T. Lewis, age 89, of Monticello, Ky. passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky. She was born July 17, 1915 in Owens, W. Va., the daughter of the late Louie Vargo and Julia Poat Vargo. She married Louie Lewis on June 28, 1957, who preceded her in death. She is survived by three step-children-Paul Lewis of NY, Richard Lewis of Abilene, Texas and Nancy Moore of Warren, Ohio; one brother-Russell Vargo of Clarksburg, W. Va.; two sisters-Mary New-brough of Clarksburg, W. Va. and Annie Calvin of Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was one daughter-Wanda Sexton; one son-Henry Lewis; six siblings-Joe Vargo, Louie Vargo, John Vargo, Stevie Vargo, Margaret Vargo and Hazel Charney. Funeral services were held at the Ronald V. Lucas Funeral Home in N. Braddox, Penn. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements. Add a comment |
