ERVIN HUGHES Oct. 21, 1929-Feb. 24, 2005 Ervin Hughes, age 75, of the Murl community of Wayne Co., Ky. passed away Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Central Baptist Hospital. He was born October 21, 1929 in Wayne Co., Ky., the son of the late William Hughes and Lady Hughes. He married Imogene Hughes on May 1, 1953, who survives. He is also survived by five children-Linda Ripple, Carolyn Dishman, Ronald Hughes, Larry Hughes and Gary Hughes, all of Monticello, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was self-employed as a farmer. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 27, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Corb Hicks officiating. Burial was in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.
