RAYMOND MORROW Jan. 24, 1920-Feb. 18, 2005 Raymond Morrow, age 85, of Delta, Ky. passed away Friday, February 18, 2005 at Britthaven Nursing Home in Somerset, Ky. He was born January 24, 1920 in Delta, Ky., the son of the late John Morrow and Cena Worley Morrow. He married Chloa Branscum on December 24, 1941, who survives. He is also survived by 14 children-Jewell Morrow, Joe Morrow, Daniel Morrow, Betty Norrick and Charlene Turner, all of Monticello, Ky., Manuel Morrow of Somerset, Ky., Ray Morrow of Indianapolis, Ind., Judy Glover and John Morrow of Greenwood, Ind., Fred Morrow of New Castle, Ind., Kathy Orlosky of Oak Hills, Calif., Linda VonHarten of Beaufort, S.C., Sharon Williams of Newport News, Va. and Elizabeth Brown of Carmel, Ind.; 24 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was five brothers; five sisters; and one granddaughter. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wendell Morrow and Bro. Tom Foster officiating. Burial was in the Tucker Cemetery. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
