SHIRLEY A. LESKO Jul. 6, 1926-Feb. 25, 2005 Shirley A. Lesko, age 78, of Springfield, passed away Friday, February 25, 2005 at St. Johnıs Hospital. She was born July 6, 1926 in Old Berlin, Ill., the daughter of the late Thomas and Angie Harris Alley. She married John M. Lesko on September 27, 1947 in Chicago, who survives. She is also survived by two sons-John N. Lesko and Frank J. Lesko, both of Springfield; two daughters-Anglee Stickel and Jolene A. Lesko, both of Springfield; two sisters-Lillian Anderson of Mechanicsburg and Christine Shaddan of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was one sister-Lexie Smith. She had been employed by the Illinois Department of Revenue. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Funeral Mass was held Monday, February 28, 2005 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Springfield with Very Rev. Thomas Liebler, V.F. celebrant. Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Illinois School for the Deaf, 125 S. Webster, Jacksonville, Ill. 62650. Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home of Springfield in charge of arrangements.
