Thomas, Slone arrested on various violations Billy J. Thomas, 33, of Monticello was arrested on Thursday, March 9, following an investigation by the Wayne County office of Kentucky Probation and Parole, the Wayne County Sheriff¹s Department, Kentucky State Police and the UNITE Task Force. Thomas was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first degree. During the course of the investigation, Anthony Slone, 23 of Burnside, was also arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first degree, trafficking in a controlled substance second degree and carrying a concealed weapon. A quantity of methamphetamine and hydrocodone was seized, as well as two handguns and an automobile, according to the Sheriff¹s Department. Both were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
