Daffron charged with promoting contraband A local man has been charged with promoting contraband first degree, according to Wayne County Jailer Ray C. Upchurch. James Stewart Daffron, 19, was charged after deputy jailers found marijuana on him at the Detention Center. Daffron had been transported to the Wayne County Detention Center early on Tuesday, March 29, when the search was conducted. Upchurch noted that contraband will not be tolerated at the Wayne County Detention Center and anyone caught promoting contraband will be prosecuted. Add a comment |
