MURIEL CORRELL WORSHAM Nov. 22, 1912-Mar. 29, 2005 Muriel Correll Worsham, age 92, passed away March 29, 2005. She was born November 22, 1912, the daughter of the late James Robert Correll and Rhoda Mary Hollars Correll. She married Robert Ray Worsham on June 3, 1937, who preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter-Carolyn Worsham West; one sister-Pearl Shearer; two granddaughters; three great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was three sisters-Lizzie Correll, Delma Hollars and Allie Turpin; and four brothers-Everett, Robert, Marion and Tom Correll. She professed her faith in Christ at a young age and became a member of the New Salem Baptist Church. She later became a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church. She had recently attended the First Christian Church. Funeral services were held Friday, April 1, 2005 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Harlan Ogle officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
