GEORGE F. VAUGHN Feb. 25, 1934-Mar. 27, 2005 George F. Vaughn, age 71, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2005 at the Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Ind. He was born February 25, 1934, a native of Ritner, Ky., the son of the late Sherman and Rebecca Corder Vaughn. He married Ruby L. Decker, who survives. He is also survived by two sons-Jeff Vaughn of Indianapolis and Douglas Vaughn of Laconia, Ind.; one daughter-Patricia Thompson of Corydon; one brother-Fred Vaughn of Somerset, Ky.; five sisters-Ella Dean Vaughn and Irene Jones, both of Ritner, Ky., Nella Adams of Monticello, Ky., Hazel Coffey of Daleville, Ind. and Myrtle Abbott of Crossville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Preceding him in death was three brothers-Theo, Carson and Elmo Vaught; and two sisters-Oreda Lamar and Bonnie Vaughn. He was a retired machinist from Indiana Gearworks in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Faith Assembly Church. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. James Allen and Bro Bud Thompson officiating.
