MUC plans to flush hydrants The Monticello Utility Commission is planning to flush its water distribution system on April 26, 27 and 28. Main lines leading into Monticello will be flushed Tuesday, April 26. Lines inside the city limits and areas that are adjacent to the city limits will be flushed Wednesday, April 27. On Thursday, April 28, designated points throughout the water service area in Wayne County will be flushed. The Monticello Utility Commission reminds customers that when hydrants are being flushed there is a possibility of water discoloration. Please check water before doing any laundry. Add a comment |
