MUC plans to flush hydrants The Monticello Utility Commission is planning to flush its water distribution system several days this week. Main lines leading into Monticello were flushed Tuesday, April 26. Lines inside the city limits and areas that are adjacent to the city limits will be flushed Wednesday, April 27. On Thursday, April 28, designated points throughout the water service area in Wayne County will be flushed. The Monticello Utility Commission reminds customers that when hydrants are being flushed there is a possibility of water discoloration. Please check water before doing any laundry. Add a comment |
