OVA CORRELL DENNEY Mar. 23, 1922-Apr. 18, 2005 Ova Correll Denney, age 83, passed away Monday, April 18, 2005 at the Golden Years Nursing Home. She was born March 23, 1922, in Wayne County, Ky., the daughter of the late Green and Luttie Branscum Correll. On November 13, 1940, she married Cecil Frank Denney. She is survived by three children-Darrell Denney of Whiteland, Ind., Troy Denny of Spencer, Ind., and Jack Denney of Bronston, Ky.; three sisters-Lonnie Tucker, Maxine Young, and Vela New; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by two sons-Randolph and Phillip; one brother-Tildon Correll; and three sisters-Dorothy Nevels, Myrtle Hill and Artus Stevens. In July of 1936, at the age of 14 she accepted Christ as her Savior and became a member of the Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church and was a member of the First Turkey Creek Baptist Church at the time of her passing. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 21, 2005 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Carlie Tucker and Bro. Larry Foster officiating. Burial was in the Branscum Cemetery.
