ROGER LEE UPCHURCH Apr. 29, 1959-Apr. 17, 2005 Roger Lee Upchurch, age 45, of Muncie, Ind. passed away Sunday, April 17, 2005 at Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 29, 1959, in Muncie, Ind., the son of Sue Whitmire Upchurch and Billy Upchurch. Both parents survive. He married Deborah K. (Anderson) Upchurch, who survives. He is also survived by one daughter-Tamara Anderson of Muncie, Ind.; one brother Tommy Pelleria of Everett, Washington; one sister-Cindy S. Smith of Muncie, Ind.; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; paternal grandparents; one sister-Judy Pelleria; one brother-Richard ³Dickie² Upchurch. He had worked for Pepsi and New Venture Gear before transferring to Metal Fab with General Motors in Indianapolis. He was a member of the U.A.W. and Teamsters and formerly with the Laborerıs Union. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of the mortuary with Pastor James Oliver McCowan officiating. Burial was in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie, with Military Rites by the Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard.
