Stamp out hunger May 14 The National Association of City and Rural Letter Carriers, in conjunction with the United States Postal Service, invites local residents to participate in a nationwide effort to help stamp out hunger. On Saturday, May 14, mail carriers will be collecting non-perishable food items like canned meats, canned soup, juice, pasta, vegetables, cereal and rice to help families in need in the community. Place your food donation in your mailbox on May 14 before your letter carrier arrives. All the food items donated in Monticello will go to the Hope Center. Add a comment |
