Family Support Group will put up yellow ribbons The Family Support Group for the local National Guard will be putting up yellow ribbons around Monticello this week. Several local florists have donated 120 yellow ribbons to the Family Support Group. Plans are to replace some of the older, worn yellow ribbons that are located around town right now, as well as to place new ones up in other locations. The Family Support Group is asking that the community help with this project. The Family Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 19 at the Armory to begin the ribbon project.
