REV. CARL B. ROBBINS Dec. 27, 1911-May 9, 2005 Rev. Carl B. Robbins, age 93, of Maysville, Ky. passed away Monday, May 9, 2005. He was born December 27, 1911, in Louisville, Ky., the son of the late James D. and Ethel Robbins. He was married to Mary Stowers and later he married Mary Barnett Hurt Robbins, who survives him. He is also survived by one child-Beverly Ann Robbins of Vanceburg, Ky.; four step children-Dallas Hurt of Russellville, Oh., Dwight Hurt of Aberdeen, Oh., Patricia Reynolds of Richlands, Va., and Barbara McKee of Morganton, NC.; one sister-Mary Frank of Louisville, Ky.; six step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one child-Carol Lois Robbins. He became a Baptist minister, serving many years as pastor and missions director for the Kentucky Baptist Convention. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Larry Polston, Rev. Truitt Colanaugher and Rev. Curtis Burnett presiding. Interment will be in Lousiville Memorial Gardens, Louisville, Ky. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Bracken Association Baptist Building Fund, 5101 Main St., Mayslick, Ky.
