JAMES ALFRED BOSTON June 17, 1912-May 19, 2005 James Alfred Boston, age 92, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2005 at the Golden Years Nursing Home. He was born June 17, 1912 in Wayne County, Ky., the son of the late Christopher Columbus and Zollie East Boston. On March 4, 1939, he married Nettie Ethel Dunagan Boston, who preceded him in death on February 27, 2000. He is survived by one daughter-Doris Richardson; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was the last survivor of the C.C. Boston family and was preceded in death by two sisters-Mollie Metcalf and Etha Bach; and one brother-Ola Jackson Boston. He had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Monticello Church of God. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 22, 2005 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Keith McKim officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Hoyt G. Hickey & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
