Project administrator is named for broadband grant The Lake Cumberland Area Development District has been designated as the project administrator for the $1 million broadband grant from the state. The Telecommunications Board met on Friday, May 27 to appoint a project administrator, as required by the state. The Telecommunications Board has been awarded the $1 million grant, as part of the effort to update the local cable system. The board is currently in the process of putting together the remainder of the financial package that would total a $7.5 million upgrade, including high speed internet capabilities. Add a comment |
