ALLENE SLAGLE SLOAN DAVENPORT Aug. 9, 1925-June 8, 2005 Allene Slagle Sloan Davenport, age 79, passed away June 8, 2005 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio. She was born in Monticello, Ky. on August 9, 1925, the daughter of the late Clay and Lucy Neely Slagle. She married Claude Sloan who preceded her in death. She later married Homer Davenport, who also preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter-Wanda Piercy, of Leesburg, Ohio; three brothers, Clifford, Howard, and Eugene Slagle; four grandchildren; and seven great grand children. She had accepted Christ as her Savior as a young woman and was a member of the Rogeršs Grove Baptist Church. The funeral service was held Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the Rogeršs Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Bell officiating. Burial was in the Rogeršs Grove Cemetery. Hoyt G.
