HILDA ALENE CHRISWELL UPCHURCH Feb. 15, 1928-June 29, 2005 Hilda Alene Chriswell Upchurch, age 77, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at the Wayne County Hospital, Monticello, Ky. She was born February 15, 1928, the daughter of the late Perk and Mollie Mae Martin Chriswell. She married Teddy Willard who preceded her in death. She is survived by ten children Joyce Cooper, Martha Hurd, Ruth Volz, Sue Earlywine, Betty Carpenter, Kenneth, Willard and Bruce Upchurch; six sisters Chris Brown, Lola Smith, Irene Ballou and Kathleen Buck, two brothers and Carl Chriswell, 38 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five children, Gene, Robert, Stella, Carolyn, and Edna Upchurch; a sister, Imogene Garrett, a brother, Scott Chriswell, and four grandchildren. She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Little Community Church. Funeral services were held Friday July 1, 2005, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Anson Perkins and Brother Lee Winchester officiating, burial in the Old Sandusky Cemetery. Hoyt G. Hickey & Son in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
