BOYCE DEAN PHILLIPS June 28, 1941-July 10, 2005 Boyce Dean Phillips, age 64, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2005, at the Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, Ky. He was born at Bell Farm, Ky. on June 28, 1941, the son of Albert and Zona Gregory Phillips. On June 24, 1961, he married Charlotte Jones Phillips, who survives. He is survived by five children-Deborah Diane Wilson of Pine Knot, Ky., Vickie Gregory of Stearns, Ky., Don L. Phillips, Nickie Lee Kelsay, and Steven Phillips, all of Monticello, Ky. He is also survived by four brothers-Howard Phillips and Estill Phillips, both of Stearns, Ky., Hewey Phillips and Jimmy Phillips, both of Muncie, Ind.; six sisters-Dorothy Vaughn, Opal Roberts, Helen Tucker, and Lorene Roberts, all of Stearns, Ky., Zella Matthews of Revelo, and Beulah Jackson of Somerset, Ky.; and nine grandchildren. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in the Phillips Farm Cemetery at Jones Hollow in Stearns. Pine Knot Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
