Two sisters are reported missing
Melodie Phelps
News Editor

The Wayne County Sheriff¹s Department is looking for information to help

locate two girls who apparently ran away from their home in Bell Subdivision

late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

Missing person reports have been filed with the National Crime

Information Center (NCIC) as part of the effort to find Patricia Neal, 13,

and Rachel Neal, 11. The girls¹ mother, Mary Guffey, said the girls were

last seen in their bedroom at approximately 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Guffey said they left the home through their bedroom window. Deputy

Wayne Conn, who is investigating the case, said the girls did leave a note

and also took some belongings with them.

Conn said that he has received no leads so far as to the whereabouts of

the girls. Mary Guffey said she did not believe the girls were with

relatives. She said they have only lived here for a few months.

Anyone with any information about Patricia or Rachel Neal should contact

the Wayne County Sheriff¹s Department at (606) 348-5416 or call 911.
