HOLLIS V. BELL Aug. 9, 1956-Aug. 5, 2005 Hollis V. Bell, age 48, of New Castle, Ind., passed away Friday, August 5, 2005 at his home. He was born August 9, 1956 in Monticello, Ky., the son of Marsella (Malone) Bell and the late Hillard Bell. He is survived by one daughter-Donyell Uriah Morgan of Lovington, Ill.; four sisters-Mary Ann Dishman of New Castle, Ind., Janie Herman of Indianapolis, Ind., Kim Ball and Alicia Neal, both of New Castle, Ind.; three granddaughters; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.. He was a self-employed painter, and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Grand Avenue Baptist Church in New Castle, Ind. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charles Dugger and Rev. Tony Piper officiating. Military rites were conducted by New Castle American Legion Post #137 and the V.F.W. Post #1282. Burial was in the South Mound Cemetery Legion Hill. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Main and Frame Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
