HOLLIS V. BELL Aug. 9, 1956-Aug. 5, 2005 Hollis V. Bell, age 48, of New Castle, Ind. passed away Friday August 5, 2005 at his home. He was born August 9, 1956, in Monticello, Ky., the son of Marsella Malone Bell and the late Hillard Bell. He is survived by one daughter-Donyell Uriah Morgan of Lovington, Ill., four sisters-Janie Herman of Indianapolis, Ind., Mary Ann Dishman, Kim Ball, and Alicia Neal, all of New Castle, Ind.; three granddaughters; and one grandson. He was the nephew of Kay Malone, Jewelene Young, and Lois Troxell, all of Monticello, Ky. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church in New Castle. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at the Main and Frame Funeral Home in New Castle, Ind. with Rev. Charles Dugger and Rev. Tony Piper officiating. Military rites were conducted by New Castle American Legion Post # 137 and the VFW Post #1282. Burial was in the South Mound Cemetery Legion Hill.
