JAMES GOLMAN GREGORY Jan. 5, 1920-Aug. 16, 2005 James Golman Gregory, age 85, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at the Wayne County Hospital. He was born January 5, 1920 in Wayne County, Ky., the son of the late Obie and Elmira Slaven Gregory. On May 22, 1948 he married Florence Bertram Gregory, who survives. He is survived by two sons Gregory of the Spann Hill community of Wayne County, Ky.; three sisters Agee, Flonnie Slagle, Flora Carter; two brothers Gregory; four grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. He was a WWII Veteran of the Army. He had accepted Christ as his savior and attended Life Temple in Monticello. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Sam Humble officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Hoyt G. Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
