Anna Jane Dolen Cook (8/23/2005)
To the family of Lexie Elam. I usually check the deaths listed in the Wayne County Outlook by computer and occasionally recognize a name. I noticed tonight that Wayne County lost another wonderful person - Lexie Elam. Lexie and Montie were our neighbors for years when we lived in Oil Valley. When my father was killed (Harley Dolen) she and the whole Elam family came to our rescue. In later years my mother married Menville Elam (Montie's brother). I will always remember her as being a kind and loving person. The world needs more people like Lexie Elam. Ann Dolen Cook Bardstown, Kentucky
