MARY ALTA LEWIS MARTIN June 5, 1926-Aug. 18, 2005 Mary Alta Lewis Martin, age 79, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2005 at her home. She was born June 5, 1926 in the Burfield community of Wayne County, Ky., the daughter of the late France and Catherine Chriswell Lewis. On February 28, 1942, she married Ruben Andy Martin, who passed away March 28, 2003. She is survived by two sons-Glen Martin and Jimmy Martin; one daughter Leta Frye; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great- great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one brother She had accepted Christ as her savior and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 21, 2005 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Floyd and Bro. C. E. Dick officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Hoyt G.
