GEORGIA JANE BROWN Sept. 28, 1930-Sept. 15, 2005 Georgia Jane Brown, age 74, passed away September 15, 2005 at her home. She was born September 28, 1930 in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Ernest "Cap" and Nona Bell Lowe McGinnis. On March 9, 1946 she married Claude Brown who survives. She is survived by two daughters-Julie Koontz and Lisa Richardson; four sons-Loenard, Roy, Donald, Joey and Ricky Brown; five sisters-Beatrice Dishman, Ivory Di Piero, Bonnetta Bertram, Mary Guffey and Kathy Reed; four brothers-Robert, James, Clyde and Jack McGinnis; 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother-Jerry McGinnis. She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Central Union Baptist Church, and attended the Faith United Baptist Church. Funeral service was held Friday afternoon in the Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Daniel Richarson officiating, burial in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Hickey & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
