DOVIE ALICE YOUNG Aug. 27, 1919-Oct. 6, 2005 Dovie Alice Burnett Young, age 86, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2005. She was born August 27, 1919, in the Parmleysville community, the daughter of the late George and Myrtie Burnett. On December 2, 1939 she married Stanley Young who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by one brother-Raymond Burnett. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 9, 2005 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Henry Stringer and Bro. Dewey Burks officiating. Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
