Parnell man. Sheriff James Lynn Hill said the case remains under
investigation, and police are awaiting some test results regarding evidence.
James Parmley, 28, was found dead in his home on Tuesday, October 18.

came home and called for help at approximately 8 a.m.
The victim was found inside the back bedroom of the home, with a single

Hill also confirmed there was blood on the outside of the mobile home
door, but he would not comment on reports that there was blood found outside
the residence.
The Parmley residence is located about eight miles from Monticello off
KY 92 West near the Beaver Creek area.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Marvin S. Hicks
shortly after 9 a.m. An autopsy was conducted at the State Medical
Examinerıs Office in Frankfort, but preliminary results were not yet
available.
Hill said that every lead is being followed up on at this time. The
Wayne County Sheriffıs Department and Kentucky State Police Detective Boyd
