NORMA RUTH FRANKLIN MILLER Sept. 2, 1941-Oct. 3, 2005 Norma Ruth (Franklin) Miller, of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Monday, October 3, 2005 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born September 2, 1941 in Monticello, Ky., she was the daughter of Sidney and Mary (Hoover) Franklin. Ruth was a graduate of Monticello High School, and loved sports. She was voted Best Female Athlete in her senior year and also enjoyed bowling and working in her flowers. She was married to Freddie Miller on January 21, 1967. She had worked for Avon Corp. in Cincinnati for 30 years, retiring in 1966. Those left to honor Ruth's memory include her husband Freddie; three sisters-Mildred Blum of Newton, Iowa, Jean Page of Indianapolis, Ind., Betty Lee Zimmerman of Martin, Tenn.; and one brother-Glen (Linda) Franklin of Osowatomie, Kan.; and many neices and nephews. Zettler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements with the Rev. Howard (Russ) Faulkner officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio. Add a comment |
