Battery C Support Group will sponsor chili supper The Family Support Group for Battery C will sponsor a chili supper on Saturday, November 12 at 5 p.m. at the Armory. There will be fun events for children of all ages, as well as plenty of good hometown entertainment. "Welcome Home" t-shirts will be available for $12. Admission to the chili supper is $5 for adults. All veterans and children 12 and under will be admitted for $2.50. Klassyc Times will perform during the chili supper. Various businesses have donated items for an auction that will be held that evening. The event is just one of the fund raising efforts currently going on, as the Family Support Group plans for homecoming for the soldiers. All proceeds will go toward that event. Also, the Family Support Group will have a meeting on Sunday, November 6 at 3 p.m. at the Armory. Anyone who wants to come and support the troops and help with the chili supper is welcome to attend.
