Detention Center receives second state jail inspection The Wayne County Detention Center recently received the second state jail inspection for the year 2005, and no problems were noted. Jailer Ray C. Upchurch said the inspection was conducted by Jeff Burton and the Detention Center received a good rating with no problems being noted. The Detention Center is inspected two times each year and received a 98 percent rating during the first inspection in the spring. The next inspection will be in the spring of 2006. Add a comment |
